Create Payment Link

Creating a Payment Link is a smooth process. You can complete the full flow from product definition to link generation in a few minutes.

1. Initiate Creation

Log in to the merchant dashboard, click Payment Links in the left menu, and then click the "Create Payment Link" button in the upper right corner.

2. Add Product

A Payment Link must be associated with a product. You can select from the existing product library or Create New Product directly on the current page.

Click Add New Product and complete the following information in the popup window on the right:

Basic Information

  • Name (Required): The display name of the product, which will be shown directly on the payment page.
  • Image: Upload a thumbnail of the product (Supports JPG/PNG, under 2MB). High-quality images are recommended to increase buyer trust.
  • Description: Briefly introduce product details or delivery content (Max 200 characters).

Advanced Settings

  • Metadata:
    • You can add up to 10 Key-Value pairs.
    • Usage: This data can be used to describe specific attributes of the product, e.g., Key: Size, Value: XXL.
  • Common Prices:
    • This is the template price for the product, supporting up to 5 entries.
    • The first price will be set as the default price.
    • Note: The price set here is for reference only. You can overwrite this price at any time in the next step of generating the link.

3. Configure Payment Rules

Pricing & Fees

  • Pricing Strategy:
    • Fixed Pricing: The system automatically fills in the product's "Common Price". You can click the edit icon to modify it (Modification only applies to the current link).
    • Custom Pricing: Allow buyers to input any amount (Commonly used for donations).
  • Fee Bearer: Choose whether the Payee (You) or the Payer bears the payment service fee.

Account & Information

  • Collection Settings: Select the collection account and receiving currency corresponding to this link.
  • Email Account: Check to mandate buyers to fill in their email address before payment, facilitating subsequent order notifications.

4. Configure Post-Payment Behavior

Click the After Payment tab at the top to define the redirection logic after a successful user payment:

  • Show Confirmation Page (Default):
    • After payment is completed, the user stays on the platform's hosted page and sees a green "Payment Successful" prompt.
    • Custom Message: Check to input a thank-you note or subsequent instructions (e.g., "Shipping email sent, please check"), which will be displayed below the success page.
  • Do Not Show Confirmation Page (Auto-redirect):
    • After payment is completed, the system will immediately redirect the user to your specified URL.
    • Use Case: Redirect back to your independent site's download page, member center, or custom thank-you page.

5. Preview & Publish

Check the appearance of the payment page in the preview panel on the right. You can also switch tabs in the preview area to view the "After Payment" effect.

After confirming everything is correct, click Create Link in the upper right corner. The system will generate a unique URL and a corresponding QR code.
